Ms. Margaret Alva joined politics in 1969 and has served 4 terms in the Rajya Sabha with a term in Lok Sabha. She campaigned for a greater prominence of women in government and in her party's official posts. Her 1989 proposal that 33% of seats in Panchayat Raj elections be reserved for women became a law in 1993. She played an instrumental role to improve the rights and involvement of women and children in governance. She has served as Governor of various states as well as a Union Minister.

Ms. Priyanka Chaturvedi joined politics in 2010 after a career in the private sector. She is now serving as a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from Maharashtra and Deputy Leader of Shiv Sena. She has vast organisational experience. She regularly writes for various publications and is seen frequently on news television debates.
Ms. Shaina NC, is an Indian politician, fashion designer and social worker. She entered politics in 2004 and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She holds the positions of national spokesperson for the BJP, member of the national executive council of BJP, and treasurer of the BJP's Maharashtra unit. Ms. Shaina is known to be a staunch supporter of the Women's Reservation Bill.
